Only one of 17 kinds of products is out of limited lead content seriously. At present the product importer was informed to environment prosecutors because being a suspect environmental harm. 9 of them is out of limited Cr content ,it is not sure whether the element out of limits is Cr VI because of limitations of testing method. Kemi have noticed relevant importers or manufactures and required those enterprises to confirm the existing way of Cr.
Kemi will carry on continous test for consumer electronics in 2012 to make sure that the product will be fit for EU ROHS directive about limited requirement of Pb,Cd,Hg,Cr IV and PBBs and PBDE.
